Who we are
KARAS Security Services, Inc. ("KARAS", "we", "us") is a California licensed private security company (PPO License #14828) located at 11844 W. Pico Blvd., Suite 201, Los Angeles, CA 90064. This policy explains what we collect through karassecurity.com and what we do with it.
Information we collect
We collect only what you choose to send us. On the quote form: your name, company, email, phone, site address or city, service needed, start date, weekly hours and your message. On the careers form: your name, phone, email, city and your message. Our servers also keep standard technical records (such as your IP address and browser type) for security and troubleshooting. We do not run advertising or analytics trackers on this site, and we do not set advertising cookies.
How we use it
We use your information to answer your request, prepare a quote, schedule a conversation, review a job application, run and protect this website, and meet legal obligations. We do not use it for anything unrelated to your request.
Calls and text messages
When you check the consent box on a form, you agree that KARAS may contact you about your request by phone, email or text message (SMS). Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of getting a quote or of being hired, and you can always call us instead. We do not share mobile phone numbers or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross context behavioral advertising. Form messages are delivered to our own inbox through our website hosting provider (GoDaddy) and our email provider. These providers process data only to deliver the service. We may disclose information if the law requires it, to protect people or property, or in a sale or reorganization of the company.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests and client related records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal and contract requirements. Job applications are kept for as long as we may consider you for a position, and then deleted. You can ask us to delete your information sooner, subject to legal requirements.
Security
The site uses HTTPS, and form submissions are limited in size and rate and filtered for abuse. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information such as Social Security numbers or payment details through the forms.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to request a copy of it; to correct it; to delete it; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do neither); and to not be treated differently for using these rights. We will confirm your identity before acting, and we will respond within 45 days, as the law allows. You may use an authorized agent to make a request for you.
Children
This website is for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Material changes will be posted on this page.
